Jackie and Cassidy’s wedding at Rippon Lodge was full of so much laughter and adorably sweet moments. These two self professed “adorkable” souls were so much fun to be around… I mean seriously… I’m pretty sure I caught Jackie licking Cassidy’s face a time or two with everyone falling into a fit of giggles. I first met Jackie when she was in middle school and I was her camp counselor at The Jeremiah Project (my other side job :)),… never in a million years would I have thought I’d be invited back into her life and stand amongst her friends and family as she married her best friend! When Jackie and I first talked on the phone about her wedding she shared with me that her wedding would be a labor of love – from growing her own flowers (which were peppermint!) to sewing and designing her blush dress (YES… REALLY!!!) and even playing with her band!! All of her hard work and the love of her family and friends all came together perfectly on this summer (hot!) day… and it is one that I will always cherish having been apart of!
As a photographer, I’m drawn to stories. Tells that are full of beauty, and a little bit of magic. I have a passion for capturing the quiet and unposed between two souls, and a deep love for those candid, bursting at the seams with life moments between old friends.
